We are going to jump right in after our break from school in March and begin a unit on striking objects by using hockey sticks. We will learning several hockey skills over the next two weeks including safety in the sport of hockey and using the equipment correctly. We will learn to dribble, pass, receive the puck and tackle the puck away from someone else. We will play a variety of lead-up games using the hockey sticks over the next two weeks.
